Plastic Clean Lift Case Study

Allen Field takes on custom manufacturing projects of all scopes and sizes. From a minor alteration of a current design to a large ensemble of parts – manufactured from start to finish, we have done it all. Sometimes, we even get asked to make modifications to our own product to suit specific customer needs. One example of such a custom project is our newest Clean Lift Handle – the Plastic Clean Lift.

The Allen Field Clean Lift Handles are inserted into die-cuts on the sides of large boxes, to enable carrying ease. In addition to reinforcing the die-cuts in corrugated boxes, the plastic pocket prevents loose particles and dust from entering the box during shipping. Our original Corrugated Clean Lift attaches to the box with adhesive glue. While this works well for many applications, a high-tech company came to us in need of a Clean Lift that attached without adhesive, as their boxes were not conducive with the glue.

To accommodate our customer, we created a Plastic Clean Lift Handle. This new edition clips onto the die cuts using two plastic pieces that connect. The plastic connecting clips allow for attachment without adhesive and add additional durability to the corrugated board, where the shipper lifts the box. This extra reinforcement to the die-cuts helps prevent damage to the box and the shippers’ hands.

Our Clean Lift Handles are especially useful for shipping electronics, as the plastic pocket keeps all external particles from getting inside the box and damaging mechanical parts. The origin of their name, our Clean Lift Handles keep your products clean and pristine during transportation and are now available to all Allen Field customers.
