La investigaci\u00f3n pretende mejorar la experiencia de compra en l\u00ednea tanto para compradores como para proveedores, con la intenci\u00f3n de cerrar las brechas entre las expectativas de los compradores y los servicios que los proveedores ofrecen en l\u00ednea. Para lograrlo, la encuesta se propuso averiguar el proceso que los profesionales del envasado utilizan en Internet a la hora de buscar informaci\u00f3n sobre proveedores o productos, comparar precios y otros factores importantes del proceso de compra.<\/p>\n<p>En una encuesta de 2016 denominada Comportamiento de compra en l\u00ednea de los compradores de envases de la Universidad de Ciencias Aplicadas de Fontys, en la que participaron m\u00e1s de 450 personas de 21 pa\u00edses, se pregunt\u00f3 a los profesionales del envasado sobre su historial de compras a trav\u00e9s de internet durante el \u00faltimo a\u00f1o. Los resultados se centran en 227 de estas personas que respondieron a 20 preguntas sobre el uso de Internet para facilitar la compra de envases. Este blog se centrar\u00e1 en los resultados de la encuesta sobre demograf\u00eda y uso de Internet.<\/p>\n<p>La demograf\u00eda, o la naturaleza de las compras, es el primer aspecto que analizaremos en relaci\u00f3n con la influencia de Internet en los compradores de envases. A los encuestados se les pregunt\u00f3 por el tipo de producto que buscaban y tuvieron las siguientes opciones: materiales\/envases\/suministros de envasado, equipos\/maquinaria de envasado, automatizaci\u00f3n\/control\/componentes relacionados, servicios\/proveedores de soluciones de envasado contratados (externos), servicios de consultor\u00eda de envasado (incluyendo ingenier\u00eda, dise\u00f1o de envases) u otros. Se acept\u00f3 m\u00e1s de una respuesta y los materiales de envasado y proveedores ocuparon el primer lugar entre los m\u00e1s buscados, aunque los compradores tambi\u00e9n solicitaron una buena cantidad de equipos, maquinaria, automatizaci\u00f3n y componentes relacionados.<\/p>\n<p>La encuesta tambi\u00e9n concluy\u00f3 que el 43% de los compradores de envases compraban por primera vez o compraban algo menos de una vez al a\u00f1o, lo que supone un aumento respecto al 27% de la encuesta del a\u00f1o pasado. Sin embargo, la encuesta no explicaba con precisi\u00f3n qu\u00e9 compraban esas personas. Podr\u00eda tratarse de profesionales del envasado que compraban materiales por menos de $1.000. Los presupuestos oscilaban entre menos de $12.000 y m\u00e1s de $6 millones, con la mayor\u00eda gastando entre $12.000 y $124.0000 (52 compradores) o entre $125.000 y $1,2 millones (38 compradores).<\/p>\n<p>Siguiendo con los datos demogr\u00e1ficos de las compras de envases en l\u00ednea, la encuesta se fij\u00f3 en la distancia a la que los compradores buscaban posibles vendedores o proveedores. Escogieron entre el \u00e1mbito local (en un radio de 160 km), el regional dentro de mi propio pa\u00eds, el internacional y el global, con el \u00e1mbito regional dentro de mi propio pa\u00eds a la cabeza con mucha diferencia (50%). La encuesta muestra que el presupuesto influy\u00f3 en estas compras, ya que los que ten\u00edan presupuestos superiores a $125.000 buscaron fuera del pa\u00eds, posiblemente para encontrar materiales m\u00e1s baratos, productos o servicios de mejor calidad, o ambas cosas.<\/p>\n<p>La duraci\u00f3n media del proceso de compra fue de 3,9 meses y el 74% de los compradores de envases, que son la mayor\u00eda, compraron en cuatro meses o menos. El 11% de los compradores encuestados afirm\u00f3 necesitar entre seis meses y dos a\u00f1os para completar sus compras.<\/p>\n<p>El siguiente aspecto de la influencia de Internet en los compradores de envases es el uso de Internet durante las cuatro fases del proceso de compra. La mayor\u00eda de los compradores utilizaron Internet en las dos primeras fases del proceso.<\/p>\n<p>Por \u00faltimo, se midi\u00f3 la utilidad de las fuentes de informaci\u00f3n frente a las fases de compra, y se observ\u00f3 que los compradores depend\u00edan m\u00e1s de las b\u00fasquedas en Internet, los sitios web de proveedores, los correos electr\u00f3nicos de proveedores y los amigos o colegas para identificar a los proveedores y vendedores adecuados. Algunos descensos importantes a destacar son el uso de art\u00edculos de prensa en revistas especializadas, asociaciones comerciales, comunidades online, blogs y eventos offline, todos ellos con un descenso del 10%, mientras que el uso de foros o comunidades online para validar y preseleccionar proveedores tambi\u00e9n descendi\u00f3 un 10%. El uso de asociaciones comerciales o intermediarios del sector para identificar proveedores o vendedores adecuados descendi\u00f3 un 9% con respecto al a\u00f1o pasado.
